Join us for this week’s PTA meeting! Stay in the loop to find out what’s happening at Buri! Hear from Principal Ramich along with our many other exciting activities that are coming soon! We’re meeting in our new Exploratorium and if you’re able, please bring a dish of food to share (but come anyway, even if you can’t)! We’ll have a tour of the new school library as well afterwards.

Learn about our Learning Enrichment Afterschool Program (LEAP) underway (with another session coming after Spring Break) Our new Art in Action program is coming to classrooms and we’re looking for more parents to volunteer. Any new customer gets $20 to use on their first order and the school gets $20 each time a customer uses their voucher.  It is open from now until May.  So maybe once a month we can repost or reshare it?

Neon Glow Dance, LEAP Classes and PTA Unit Meeting

Dear Buri Parents!

LEAP Programs begin in a few weeks, flyers were sent home last week and extras are in the office or printable here  LEAP FLYER. Registration will happen at noon on Friday Jan 19 at dcpartnership.org click on "Register for Buri Classes" button. If you go to the website now, it will say that classes are full. They will be opened on Friday the 19th at noon. You can create an account ahead of time with Reso to save time during the registration process, just scroll up or down on that page. Classes fill up fast, especially Minecraft so be sure to mark your calendars.

PTA Unit Meeting: Thursday Feb 1st at 6:30pm. We will meet in the new Exploratorium for a potluck meeting. Please join us.

Buri Buri Family Dance: Keep Calm and Glow On:
Friday February 9th from 6-9pm in the new Buri Buri MUR. Join us at our Neon Glow themed dance party at the Buri Buri MUR! Tickets are $15 per adult (18 and over) and $10 per child (17 and under). We will only have 300 tickets available due to capacity safety and includes entrance, a glow stick, food, a drink, and one picture at the photo booth. All students must be accompanied by an adult and we encourage teachers and staff to join in on the fun! Payment with order form is due on or before Friday, February 2nd, and may be turned into the school office or to your student’s teacher. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER THE DUE DATE, OR AT THE DOOR! Tickets will be delivered to your student the week of February 5th .

FAQ: 

• Make checks out to Buri Buri PTA, turn in to teacher or office
• One adult can chaperone more than one student
• Tickets will not be available last minute or at the door. You must turn in your order by Friday Feb 2 after school. Tickets will sell out. Please order early. 
• Please use the order form to buy tickets. Limited ticket sales before and after school in person for the next two weeks, days not determined yet.
• If you volunteer to help one shift, you can get 1 free ticket.
